Tento fotografický cyklus je vizuálnym vyjadrením myšlienky rodovej pamäte a jej vzťahu k našej identite. Prostredníctvom štyroch fotografií, na ktorých sa z červenej tekutiny symbolizujúceho krv vynárajú tváre, som sa pokúsil vytvoriť metaforu dedičstva, ktoré nás prepája s našimi predkami.

Červená farba, tradične spájaná s krvou, v tomto kontexte nenesie len biologický význam. V každej rodovej línii sa v priebehu storočí nevyhnutne vyskytli ľudia s rôznymi sexuálnymi orientáciami, či rodovými identitami. Z tohto pohľadu môže byť odmietanie LGBTQ+ komunity vnímané ako popieranie časti vlastnej histórie.

Toto dielo je výzvou k revízii tradičných pohľadov na rodinu, identitu a sexuálnu orientáciu. Prostredníctvom vizuálnej metafory o pamäti krvi sa pokúšam presadiť myšlienku inkluzívnej spoločnosti, ktorá akceptuje rôznorodosť ľudských skúseností.

This photographic series is a visual expression of the concept of generational memory and its relationship to our identity. Through four photographs depicting faces emerging from a red liquid symbolizing blood, I have attempted to create a metaphor for the legacy that connects us to our ancestors.

The color red, traditionally associated with blood, in this context carries more than just a biological meaning. In every family line, throughout the centuries, there have inevitably been individuals with diverse sexual orientations or gender identities. From this perspective, the rejection of the LGBTQ+ community can be seen as a denial of part of one’s own history.

This work is a call to revise traditional views of family, identity, and sexual orientation. Through the visual metaphor of blood memory, I seek to promote the idea of an inclusive society that accepts the diversity of human experience.
